Monsieur Leroq - Le Slow Motion Boogie Woogie

I guess I should consider before throwing stones at your Simply Red pick when I'm living in an ABC glass house! "Be Near Me" is a great song though. The rest of the album isn't that special.

Mark, what do you think of Black Robot? I almost dismissed it but it really started to grow on me.

Bob, I knew you were waiting patiently, even to the last two minutes of midnight...really, that's why you were late to your own party at Ripple, wasn't it? Still checking back here for the Wednesday check in...I still love that Paris Combo album and Prince makes my day any day...I won't feel like a nerd for liking Simply Red, ditto for Haircut 100...ABC, though? ;)

Dpth, waddup? That's a VERY underground list, my friend!

cjk, glad I could inspire you to Black Earth...Angela is the better vocalist, but B.E. has better songs "Bury Me An Angel" was the only time I really headbanged at the show...nice tug on Green Carnation...underrated

Ezra, nice, bro...Quicksand was so good, particularly Slip...one of my very favorites of all-time...I made the mistake of thinking they were Fugazi when I asked the record store to hit with me a copy...either way, what a gem...isn't there a Vitus reunion gig your way shortly?

Ezra said...

Is there?!?!?! I would kill to see Vitus

you're west coast, right, dude? I know Decibel has a special article with all the core members and I could be a doofus, but I thought I read there was a Vitus gig coming in its wake...if I'm wrong, I'm an asshole and sorry, lol
