- Ray Van Horn, Jr. is a seasoned music and film journalist, having written for venues such as The Big Takeover.com, Fangoria.com, Noisecreep, About.com, Horror News.net, Metal Maniacs, AMP, Dee Snider's House of Hair Online, Pit, Hails & Horns, Unrestrained, Impose, DVD Review, Music Dish and others. His blog The Metal Minute won Metal Hammer's Best Personal Blog Award in 2009. To-date Ray has conducted more than 300 interviews with musicians, actors, film directors, authors and visual artists. He has written countless audio and video reviews and has conducted live photography at numerous venues along the east coast. Ray is a former NHL game analyst for The Hockey Nut. Ray has been a local beat reporter and photographer for newspapers and journals such as Metromix, an affiliate of the Baltimore Sun, Carroll Magazine and The Northern News. Ray is the winner of Quantum Muse's short fiction contest for 1999 and his original character superhero stories were collected in the paperback anthology "Playing Solitaire." It makes me smile until I realize that this show will never come out on DVD. Booooooooooooo!
Booooooo! indeed. If you ever get to invest in satellite, there's a station called The Hub. Where we moved to has satellite already installed and I've been DVRing the series and taping them on VHS. Antiquated, but hell, at least I'll have them in some format. I think this whole pissing match over the release rights is a disgrace.
Antiquated as in using VHS to get them. The show still makes me roar and I know Julie's 78 now, but she's still the hottest and best Catwoman ever with Michelle Pfeiffer and Eartha Kitt behind her. We'll see how well Anne Hathaway. Lee Merriweather was fine, but didn't have much to do in the film and Halle Berry made a smoking hot Catwoman but Lord, what a terrible script and film.
